I have a bottle of each of Sierra Nevada's original 3 Ovila releases(Saison, Quad, Dubbel). Since each bottle is over a year old and all three are different styles, I was just looking for some imput on what to expect from each. Is there one that should have aged better than the others? Are there any I should age longer? Should any or all of them not been aged?
I'm planning on drinking one each of the next three days and know that taste is an opinion, but I would appreciate any feedback if anyone else had aged these beers.

I too collected these for aging and to try them later. The Quad will hold up the best for sure, I haven't had one recently but at the four month mark I think it was better. The Saison has fallen off a little, although it was still very good, it sat too long IMO.

I also have a bottle each of these from the original release. Haven't opened them yet, but have had some of each fresh of course, so I'm very curious what age will have done. I agree with the above poster, that the Quad will likely have held up the best, followed by the Dubbel, then the Saison last. My hope is to open these realtively soon, next few months. Once you've opened them, let us know your thoughts. Cheers.

Drank the three bottles over the last three nights.
Saison still had alot of the pepper flavor, a little sweet and a little fruity.
Dubbel was probably the maltiest, still had a strong fruit aroma. Didn't puck up all the fruit flavors throught the malt though.
The Quad was in fact the best. Very rich flavor, very well balanced.

RDMII and Retsinis nailed with which would be the best. I think I could have done without aging the Saison, the Dubbel worked out fine, and the Quad was enjoyable but I am a little curious what a little more time could have done.
