Being can/bottle conditioned as the beer ages you will start to notice larger and lager particles of yeast known as "Particulates". They are go good indicator as to the age of a beer. My concern has to do with the fact that my 12-pack of SNPA cans dated 6/18/15 are showing rather evident signs of yeast even though the beer is still under 2 months and was refrigerated when purchased. Is this normal for SNPA?

No. SNPA is one of the beers I drink most. It is also the craft beer I have been drinking the longest. I have never noticed particulates in a SNPA or any other SN beer. I have, however, experienced it in other beers of moderate age. I was told it was from light. But you are drinking cans....

SNPA is bottle conditioned. Look for a dusting of yeast on the bottom of the bottles. Ive never seen chunks though.

I have my first ever bottle of SNPA in the fridge right now. I can't get it in Canada and I've been looking to try it for ages. I'm visiting in the U.S. right now and I'm looking forward to it.

Just had my first Two Hearted tonight - it was great. Also some Deschutes Fresh Sqeezed.

    Good beer day :-)
