Yes, fresh at the source right when it came out. Really enjoyed it for what it is. Bottled hasn't been as good, but that is based on a single bottle run. Need to get again! Prefer their traditional lagers for sure... The tap only stuff is awesome.

Give it a go, it's a great beer. I had it when it first came out and enjoyed it, didn't have it again for a long time then had it again recently and I was surprised by how hoppy it is (but not bitter) and for a lower ABV beer it packs a lot of flavor.

Definitely try it. Victory has a knack for making crisp beers and this is no different. Super crushable and a really nice hoppy punch. I really prefer it to Founders PC Pils.

Looking forward to trying this SN pack as well.

Agreed on Home Grown. Such a great beer, but expectations need to be managed to appreciate it if one is looking for a flavor bomb.

And just picked up a S Hemisphere case and tried the session IPA and hoppy pils tonight. I thought the session was okay, certainly worth the fairly low cost of admission, but the pils was on fire. Wasn’t planning on drinking but two beers tonight, and here I sit with no more pils left in the case. Insanely crushable and just a beautiful beer all in all. Would buy that one by the case, and not think twice about it.

I still haven’t seen it in the greater LA area

I loved the hoppy Pils too. Really wasn't crazy about any of the IPAs, but they were fine. I actually enjoyed this session ipa more than I do most fwiw. Glad I bought the pack, but one purchase is good for me.

SN's beer finder didn't show this in my area but I randomly stumbled upon it at Malvern Wegmans. I ended up picking it up and glad I did, enjoyed every beer in the pack. My ranking would be Pilsner (by a long shot, delicious stuff) > IPA (unfiltered look, soft taste and has oats in it according to the site) > Session (and I am typically meh on sessions) > DIPA. Well worth the purchase and I will be happily drinking through the rest.

05/29/18 packaged on date, all beers are close to that date too.

They also use de-aerated (no dissolved O2) water throughout the brewery.

at close to $20 a pack it is on the fence of worth it for me. I got a lot of mellon and white grape flavors from all the hops across the pack. That's not really my favorite profile so I haven't been super juiced. If those are flavors you like/wish you saw more of in beer land then I think this pack is right up your alley

I've been able to have a few of each of the beers so far and my ranking stands except for that I sometimes want to put the Session over the IPA, very crisp and flavorful.

Was a good purchase and exceeded my expectations. But I agree that there is a particular flavor profile across them all so if you don't like one you probably won't like most/all.

This stood out the most to me with the double IPA. I could appreciate that it was a really really well crafted DIPA. It was crisp, it's aroma was light and not overly bready, it had a full body without being heavy or overly syrupy, but I just did not like the hop profile at all. It was an objectively (to me...so? subjectively objective?) well crafted beer, but I just did not enjoy the flavor much. The hoppy pilsner on the other hand just seemed to be a poorly built beer. I thought the IPA and the session were both very nice.

Kinda hard to make out in the image in the OP but I got a kick out of the label "placement" on these cans as I was putting them in the beer fridge just now - a kinda "WTF?!" moment there.

Tip o' the hat to the folks at Sierra Nevada for that little bit of whimsy...

    Thanks for confirming that.

Generally speaking I am not a fan of the 'down under' hops for exactly what you articulate there.

I was not really thinking about buying his pack and my 'answer' has turned into a definite no (for me).

Folks who enjoy the herbaceous elements of NZ hops should go for it.

    Cheers!

I'm on my 2nd pack and many guests here have freaked because my can was upside down.

On my second pack here as well. Really enjoying these beers! The hazy single IPA is my favorite! Helps too that I can get locally for $13.99 a pack!

This pack gets a thumbs up from me (or is a thumbs down preferable in the southern hemisphere?). My favorites were the pils and the IPA. I'd purchase both on a regular basis if they were available. Not a session IPA fan myself but this one was certainly one of the better ones I've had. Folks who enjoy session IPAs should enjoy it I think. The DIPA, however, just did not work for me. Not a fan of what these hops brought to it. Nice work, Sierra Nevada. Looking forward to the forthcoming Single Hop pack.

Just picked up my first pack and first impression with the Hoppy Pilsner are quite positive. Nice thicker mouthfeel than most lagers and of course that white wine grape flavor from the Southern Hemisphere hops.

The pilsner "poorly built?" Do explain. I loved it.

Yeah not seeing that. Looking at what I scored these so far, I guess I am a Sierra Nevada homeboy from Texas. I have had everything but the session, and have enjoyed them immensely. The Pilsner has been the gem for me in the last 2 hop packs.
