I got in touch with the one in my area about distro issues (Western Queens) and didn't get much of an effort to address it. I think as long as stores are carrying Pale Ale, Torpedo and Nooner they don't really care about the rest of the line.

actually I guess more of the issue lies with craft drinkers only drinking IPAs these days, so stores don't want to carry less popular ones like porter, kellerweis, etc.

IMO, the exceptional Topedo should be Sierra Nevada's flagship beer. I honestly don't care for their Pale Ale at all.

Damn this thread, fridge is overflowing with ipa enough to get me to the 2020 Olympics but saw Torpedo in cans on sale just 7 weeks old at Publix so picked up a 12er. Glad i did after having one last nite. Still prefer 2 Hearted but cant beat it for price when on sale.

I enjoyed Torpedo. And for the price, and clear date on the back label, i probably should buy it more often, when i see it. Stores around here usually only have the Pale and a seasonal from them. Any torpedo here is over a year old right now. Shame.

For the money (when you can find it fresh), it's a solid go to. I bought some for a big party we had this past weekend and it was six weeks out which is the freshest I've seen locally (which is pretty sad), but still good.

For taste, price and availability this IPA can't be beat and it keeps its hop profile for longer than most brews. It's almost always in my cooler. The durability of their twelve pack cartons last a long time being reused for home brews. Labels remove easily too

Love me some SN Torpedo! Wish it could be obtained a little fresher.

Love this beer. When I first had it getting into craft it was the most bitter thing I had ever tasted. A Torpedo never fails to bring back memories. Too bad most of the bottles in Colorado are months old.
