I wouldn't say I had a huge passion for it, I found it quite drinkable and a solid attempt at something less geared towards beer geeks. And you're correct, it lacked in the malt department for a malt heavy beer, it was more of a Munich Helles if anything, with a bit more kick to it in terms of abv (which I'm MUCH more a fan of than Maibocks, which most likely why I remember enjoying Glissade).

Again, I'm a huge fan of Sierra Nevada, I was just agreeing with Longstaff's comments.

I also agree with this, but Sierra Nevada gets it's repeat customers from their less "in-your-face" styles. Kellerweis (which I love), Summerfest, Pale Ale.....etc.

I totally want them to make a summer saison instead of Summerfest which is meh.

Everything else they can do no wrong and I'm looking forward to the releases. Can't wait for the new Life and Limb.

it is when you could be spending the difference on another beer. Some of us do not have disposable income.

Wow-surprised to see so much negativity towards Tumbler-I think it's a fantastic beer. I was looking forward to it all Summer and have been enjoying it quite a bit since it came back. I really think that SN has almost the perfect lineup right now. I'm not a big fan of wheat beers, so Kellerweiss does nothing for me, but Tumbler, Ruthless, Porter, Stout, and Summerfest are each top examples of their style in my book, and are some of the best everyday beers around. I was very happy to see them replace Glissade and Anni with Ruthless and Tumbler. PA doesn't need my hype, but it deserves it. I'm a bit burnt out on IPAs and DIPAs, but if I want one, Celebration, Hoptimum, and Torpedo are all likely candidates when I walk into the store. And I just had my first Narwhal last night-holy hell that's a great beer. I'm going to pick up a couple of 4-packs to drink throughout the Winter and a couple to age.

If you're looking for the 'American Strong Ale' that Life and Limb one and two were, it's going to be a completely different beer. An IPA like zappafrank mentioned above. I was very disappointed that it would not be the same beer. Thought the original was a great, underrated beer.
