I don't know about you...but I can't help but be overwhelmed by the chaos in the ISO threads of people looking for Bourbon County. I get it...it's my favorite too. And I realize Prop is only available in Illinois. But people are trading the world for it! I hear all the time that the 12oz bottles sit on shelves for months in some places. I want some. Western PA got so little that if a place got it, it was only selling 1 bottle per person. But i'm not willing to trade my first born for it. Is it safe to wait it out and let the chaos die? Didn't they up production this year?
Black Friday beer hype will calm down and from what I've been hearing more bourbon county will be hitting shops in a week or two!
They did, but they're also pushing into new distribution areas as well, which keeps some areas thin, we're far from overwhelmed here in NC. VooDoo should flip for BCBS outside of the PA/Ohio/NY are, the BA more so, there's always stuff to trade for BCBS because it's far from rare into anywhere in which state allows delivery. If your wstern Pa you probably get Headhunter stuff too, great IPA's.
Give it a month or so, or whenever the next big release is. I was able to trade $4$ for BCBCS a couple months ago with Bomb!. I don't think I'm trading for Prop this year unless the asking "price" comes down.
We get some fantastic IPAs from both VooDoo and Fat Heads! I plan on getting my Bourbon County through trades...but people pay way too much to have it now...rather than waiting a month for the hype to die down.
Bcbs will trade $4$ whenever, the variants are different though. Fat Heads is the shit though, great IPAs
I get the availability of the variants is all over the map by and even within state. What I don't get this year is the value people are putting on Vanilla Rye. I had hoped to trade a Backyard for Vanilla but who knows now given all the craziness.
I still think you could find a 1:1 with vanilla. It may take some patience but in a few months I can see it. For those people who HAVE to have these variants now, you will pay the price like anyone else who overpays for convenience.
