    I actually grabbed a couple bottles of it. Was expecting to like it as a one off kind of deal, but ended up really enjoying it.

    My wife who doesn't drink beer, let alone DIPA's ordered it since i knew i would drink 75% of it... From a somewhat foggy memory, it was very bright, crisp, undertones of blueberry with a nice hop bite.

    The brevita crackers is pretty spot on. Really weird that you made the connection man. But pretty accurate.

    It's honestly the closest thing to authentic blueberry flavor short of an actual blueberry. It's not like the syrupy artificial blueberry I got from the Lizard of Koz.

    So why the big secret about the time in the barrels. I messaged Lift and they wont say anything except 6-12 months in the barrel. Anyone think its closer to 6 than 12?

    I'd assume because it is blended from multiple barrels aged variable amounts of time.

    I asked whether 6-12 months suggested that they were blended or whether it was just a vague range. No response.

    Let me rephrase that. It is blended from a variety of barrels (of course). It makes sense that they would not all be aged the same amount of time.

    Personally, I don't really care how long they aged it as long as they keep doing what they have been doing with BA Sil! Best BA stout in MN IMO!

    I haven't been fortunate enough to try BA Silhouette. Everyone says it's the best BA stout in MN but how does it compare to other BA stouts from around the country for those who have tried other sought after BA stouts? Is there another BA stout that is similar?
