Silva stout

    Its there any Silva stout out in the l.a. or San Diego area? Or is it released only in the brewery?

    Brewery only. Last released in aug 2010. It was $5 per bottle or $80 per case of 24. A few beer stores got cases and resold them around $6-7 ea.

    I think I bought 3 or 4 4-packs for $16 each and I wish I bought more. Only three bottles left...

    I only had it once, at Hamiltons in May when i was visiting from Phoenix. I guess i have to put out an ISO and see if i score any....

    RASTAPHX I drank my last bottle maybe a month ago and I would say the beer peaked about a year ago and the last bottle was definitely a shadow of its former self. There is rumors of a fresh batch coming out so you might want to hang on for a bit and see if that happens

    Had this for the first time at Stone's 16th Anniv. party in August - definitely thought it was one of the top 4-5 beers of the day. $5 a bottle sounds like a bargain too. I was at their tasting room not too long ago and they definitely have plenty of barrels of it just chillin' there....can't wait for details of the next release.
