I had the fortune of tasting a Silva Stout from Green Flash Brewing, my roommate had it unexpectedly around a year ago. I have now got much more into the craft beer scene and was wondering what it would take to trade for this beer. It is one of the best BA Stouts/beers I have ever had and it has stuck with me. Does it go 1 for 1 with DL, BCBS, Darkness, Storm Trooper, or Imperial Biscotti Break, etc? Just looking for some friendly advice.
Talked to Chuck a while back and he basically said that it was in the barrels and needed to have more time to mature, but it should be coming out before February. I can't exactly remember when this was, but hopefully it's still looking this way.
I had heard some rumblings too, glad to hear the old cup and string was sending the right messages. I am extremely excited to taste this again; I am also a patient man. February is nigh here and I am willing to wait to let near perfection finish its process.
I've still got I think 2 bottles left from when they released it last beer week. I can't seem to find a good enough time to open one right now, but I know they're going to be amazing. The stuff is like alcoholic hot cocoa.
