doing the math they say 0.20% so 5 gallons is 640 oz and 0.20% of that would be like 1.28 oz, so it might be best to err on the low side, and if you are not happy with the taste you can always add more. Assuming that this is just a spice tincture, here is link to how someone made one http://hollisbrewco.blogspot.com/2011/10/making-spice-tinctures.html. You can save yourself a lot of money

Are these kind of like essential oils? My wife is a big advocate for these and has a ton of them. I put 1-2 drops of the grapefruit essential oil in an IPA last week and man was it good. These sound interesting though and sound like they're actually made for wine/beer/cider. If they're like the essential oils, a little bit goes a long way!

Some of those on that site may qualify but this particular one just seems like a tincture

I ended up adding 1 TSP to the 6 gallons I have in the fermenter. I'll see how it tastes when I keg it and add more if necessary. I spilled a drop on the counter and you could smell pumpkin pie from a few feet away, it smells like the whole pie, crust and all.

I read some commercial breweries use this stuff and I know I've had some beers with some of those flavors at Cigar City, although I'm not sure if they are using the Silver Cloud extracts.
