In preparation for the upcoming Simcoe Shower release, how would you rank your favorite showers?

Simcoe #1 even though I've never had it!

I feel like this is how most voting in California/the country is handled by the populace.

Citra was obscenely good.. It's going to tough to beat that.

. . . . .so far. There will be more showers in the coming months.

. . . . .but for now. . . . .Nelson with Citra a very close second. Amarillo is far back at #7?

Simcoe will be interesting. One of my favorite hops to brew.

Will be on the lookout up here in LA -- I'm pretty sure it'll be at several of the Whole Foods in the area.

Favorite's Nelson, though haven't had Simcoe, so that could end up supplanting it.

Side note: I'm assuming it'll be on tap at Noble on Saturday, but is that off-base? Will be down in OC that day and figured I'd kill a few hours over there. No big deal if it's not, but just figured I'd get an opinion or two.

    I
I would bet yes it will. But you never know with all the fan boy hype! Last release all was lined up outside with phones in hand. And after they tried at the tasting room not much reaction. I think Simcoe will go over well. But not as crazy as the first two. I'm sure they will still have bottles left. Maybe they should up it to 4 bottles per person.

Got it. I don't even need a bottle, necessarily. Was just hoping to grab a pint if possible. Good to know, though...

And if anyone also planned on being at Noble on Saturday, give me a shout -- happy to share some beers with fellow BAs.

I doubt this even needed a formal poll. Citra and then Nelson.......... then Amarillo.

I would bet my right pinky toe it will be on tap thru saturday. Citra and Nelson did go fairly fast, but Amarillo stayed on tap then entire time until this last release, so hype is waxing & waning based on hop varietal as expected, and Simcoe is just a tad less sexy than either Nelson or Citra. Wait till Galaxy and Mosaic.

Good thing Ducks play @ Calgary tonight. Heard it gets pretty packed for home games...
Also...I agree with the above... I can't wait for Galaxy.

Question re: parking at and around Noble...

Heading to NCCA tourney at Pond (Honda Center) tomorrow and looking to drink some Noble before making my way over. Games start around 5 so I'll probably be drinking from 3-430 or so. Is there "public" parking near Noble where I can leave my car if I walk over, or should I park closer to the Pond and walk to Noble and back? Thanks in advance and looking forward to some Simcoe!

In my opinion it's walking distance from the "pond" lol

Noble is amongst all these other warehouses there's plenty of free parking

Just park by Noble. People do this for all the Ducks homes games already. Don't get suckered into paying for parking right down the street, it's very walkable. Though just FYI the tasting room opens at 4 on Thursdays.

    Also, Go Aztecs!

I came early, cause I left Beachwood early... 20 mins before opening already a 30 deep line. I bet it won't come near Citra... Will touch base once the glass is poured... Tbc
