What beers taste the same to you that is brewed by the same brewer? To me, SN's Flipside tastes similar to Celebration. Lagunitas' Sucks tastes like Hop Stoopid. Maybe my palette isn't sophisticated enough? But there are other brewers, like Stone, where I detect the same taste profiles with there different offerings.

A lot of breweries like Lagunitas and Stone have house character whether from the water, yeast, similar hops, similar malts, etc.

Toppling Goliath, Cellarmaker, Alpine, Jester King, New Glarus, Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Hill Farmstead (and many more) also have distinct flavor profiles to me. I think it's a characteristic that makes a brewery stand out. It's like the constant theme or vibe that runs through an album and makes it more than a collection of songs.

That said, Hop Stoopid and Sucks are honestly pretty close.

This is pretty common, especially amongst medium to large sized craft brewers, as they tend to make an array of year-rounds and seasonals with the same house yeast. Add in other factors like water, malt bill, hops, and the brewers technique and preferences, and the similarities can become even more apparent. For some breweries, this is a good thing, for others, it's a big turn-off for a lot of drinkers (Shipyard and other Ringwood yeast breweries).

My wife and I are drinking our way through the beer camp 12 pack and when we drank that Bells collaboration (I believe it was a dark ale) we both agreed it tasted "Bellsy."

Weird, I thought Sucks and Hop Stoopid were on the completely different side of DIPAs. The former being a really well balanced, tropical DIPA and the latter being the signature hop head, piney/resiny west coast DIPA. If anything Sucks and Little Sumpin Extra are closer. I'd say GF West Coast and Soul Style are pretty similar. Soul Style is pretty similar to old West Coast on paper so that makes sense.

As has been repeated, it's so often yeast. If it's true that yeast is responsible for 75% of the flavor in your beer, when a brewery uses anything besides White Labs Cal Ale yeast (or its Wyeast equivalent), then you are definitely going to notice when they repeat it throughout their lineup. It's what makes Sierra Nevada beers taste like Sierra Nevada beers - when I first tried Narhwal, it took me a while to warm up to it. Because my first thought was "SIERRA NEVADA BEER" - which is great beer, but I was a little disoriented sipping on a 10% Imp. stout and being reminded of a pale ale. I love it now and know what to expect when I drink it.

I'd be curious what house yeast Lagunitas uses for many of their beers, because so many of their beers taste very similar to me. And I'm a big fan, but I often don't remember the differences between Hairy eyeball or Undercover Shut-down, etc... and I've never compared their beers side by side.

I find a lot of breweries have similar flavours poarticularly with their mid- or low-strength options. They have jumped on the band wagon of the lower ABV, and just taken their full strength and lowered the ABV, such as Little Creatures' Bright Ale vs. Little Creatures Rogers Beer.

Some breweries just have a house character / style though, as Thanatopsis has pointed out. An example being The Grand Ridge Brewing company. Their Draught Bitter Lager, Bitter, and Gippsland Gold Pale Ale are all very similar, with only very minor differences in flavour or texture.

I personally find it a bit lazy, but it ends up being a personal preference - is it actually lazy, or are they solidifying their personal style / solidifying their target market? Personally I prefer the idiosyncractic and varied brews from breweries like Purrumbete Brewing or MoonDog.

It's always cool to see how people perceive taste differently. I think Sucks and Hop Stoopid taste completely different, but to each their own!

The original DirtWolf and Hop Ranch had similar flavor profiles, both very tropical and fruit-forward, but now that they ruined DirtWolf they're not as close.

I like Sam Adams beers, but I bet I could pick out 90% of their beers (totally unrelated styles, too) blind.
They have a very distinctive house character. Rogue, New Belgium, and Sierra Nevada do too...but it's far less pronounced and more style dependent.
