Welcome to my first thread. I enjoyed a Jester King Das Wunderkind! Sour Saison yesterday. It was my first sour of any kind and I really enjoyed it. I understand it is only slightly sour compared to some but I was wondering if you guys and gals could help me out with some suggestions of more like this. Thanks!
Not quite sour but Logsdon Seizoen Bretta and Anchorage Love Buzz are pretty top notch. Had a Hennepin for the first time in a while last night and I'll definitely be picking it up more often, has that nice hit of rustic funk and spice but drinks really smooth.
Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere should be similar. It's a low abv saison with lactobacillus and so is Das Wunderkind. Both are aged in oak. JP ES Bam might be closer.
Thanks! I know I can get the Fantome Saison and the Boulevard Brett pretty easily here in NC! Thanks for the advocacy.
