That's the price I paid down here in Long Beach with no limits. By the way I have been told they plan on making this a year round release and are shipping more inventory as we speak, that's good news for all us mega hop heads.

anything in sf?? ive been looking for this guy before its hop character is completely gone. i dont think its coming up which sucks since hoptologist and citra pa are everywhere

First bottle I had of this was great, really nice fruity hop character and seemingly fairly light on its feet for its 10% ABV - the second bottle? Well, 1 for 2 ain't too bad, right? Diacetyl WMD - boom.

 

I bought a couple bottles over the last few weeks at the same bottle shop for $8.99. I'll put it in my top 8 IPA/DIPA.

This same bottle shop still has Hangar 24 #4 Hammerhead bottles on the shelf for $14.99. This place probably has the best prices in Orange/LA county.

Also got some Hop-15 for $6.99

Where is this magical place? I just paid $23 for Hammerhead and $11 for Simtra...

It's a spot next to Walmart on Tustin st. in Orange. They sell a boat load more wine than beer bottles, and that's all i got to say about that.

I got a lot of butter flavors in my bottle as well. Non of that when I had it on tap a few months ago though.

 

The above referenced location sold out of Simtra on Thursday. I discovered this the sad way.

 

i'm gun shy on that brewery; i tried the extra pale ale and it was borderline junk with serious flaws . . . just not even a beer that should have been released honestly. i'm thinking if you can't brew a nice extra pale why should i bother with the triple IPA.

 

Drinking one right now, its fantastic!

About 20 bottles on the shelf at wine exchange in Orange @ $8.99.

 

I have my own issues with Knee Deep, the aforementioned pale ale, but this beer is off the rails. Their Hoptologist also beat PtE at the Bistro DIPA fest. I do not care for the Hoptologist either, but the SIMTRA, though overpriced is pretty frickin awsome.
