single random review disappeared

    While I could possibly be wrong, I swear, a single random review I wrote several years ago disappeared. I have never seen Beeradvocate like Yelp, deleting or hiding whatever is not in line with its dollar backing. I still see 99% of my reviews, and all of the others for this brewery. Maybe I am way off base and I never did review this beer, but I am nearly dead certain I reviewed it. Could the beer have been retired and recreated, or otherwise altered so that mine was no longer applied? Was there some kind of database hiccup or other minor error at one point?

    Weird.

    We don't randomly delete reviews, but reviews will be deleted if they're:
    • Flagged as abusive; and we agree.
    • Duplicate beers are merged and you reviewed both; we'll keep the most recent.
    • A beer (or non-beer) was removed from the system.
    Glitches (like not writing to the database) are extremely rare too.

    Without knowing what the beer was, there's not much we can do to help. The fact that you're uncertain doesn't help either.
