Damn I gotta admit this one is amazing, especially for 4.2%, so much flavor and body for how small the beer is although the cost per 4-pack is a whole other story.

Are they brewing/canning upstate already? I noticed WFs and a bunch of other places have Jenny Said, but they're not selling it in the taproom and haven't in quite some time. Usually distro matched what they were selling in the taproom, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Also looks like they're canning DDHSSMS (with a new name), but not releasing it this week?

I'm thinking maybe upstate cans are hitting distro, and Astoria cans are hiting both distro and the taproom? Interesting choice.

They recently dropped their prices in PA and NJ to be more in line with what other manufacturers are charging for 4-packs. Wheather or not retailers decided to follow suit or sell at the MSRP is another story.

I went to a shop outside of Philly and saw 4-pks of 18-Watt for $13.99 at the end of September. Much more reasonable. I did not purchase though.

I guess they decided their employees will have to suffice on the pittance that other brewery’s employees have to subside on, huh?

I’m skeptical because whenever I see SC in the store it’s still the same price: $24-26 a 4-pack.

I thought only 18-watt was carrying the lower price of ~$13...SSMS was "lowered" to $20 a while ago as well..

I've seen Weird and Gilly 4 packs for 14.99 at my local Wegmans.

Hicksville Beer and Soda on Long Island was advertising on Instagram “new lower price” for SingleCut.

good to know, hadn't realized it's starting to flow down to the other labels... I'd pick up weird & gilly for $14.99 with no qualms

I enjoy seeing SC on the shelves here in Jersey, as I often can't scratch the NEIPA itch without trekking to a brewery proper. That said, the can-dating label system is so inconsistent that I assure you, any SC folks reading here, I have passed on your delicious beer because I couldn't find a date & didn't see the release date on your Instagram.

Anyways, on to the beer -

I found a SSMS that I think is from this month, and it tasted excellent. As it usually does.

I see it regularly but the price is usually $21+.... Wrench for $7 less is a no-brainer.

I’m sorry but I haven’t drank a SingleCut beer of any sort in months and I don’t even remotely miss it. Due to the price, any store I go into has a ton of it just sitting there.

I actually don't think I've ever seen a SC can without a date on it.

There's some of varied styles on the shelf at City Beer right now.

I too will take Wrench over most SC IPAs but I don't see Wrench as often, unless I make a stop in Midtown, which I'm not always interested in doing

I wouldn't buy it at the prices they are charging. At my local beverage center, they keep much of the SC cans stacked up at the check-out counter. I don't know if that's to entice impulse purchases, or if they fear it's a highly likely candidate for shop-lifting.
