I haven't tried it yet. I got a pour of fuzzbox and my cans and was on my way.

While they may have dropped the price somewhat by canning, $20/4-pack for the IPA's they brew regularly is still higher than pretty much everything else being brewed locally, save for AGE and some of the high ABV collabs OH has done.

It takes buying a case (and a pair of socks) to get down to the $16/4-pack price point. I guess they probably have a pretty big nut on that building they bought.

so i went at 4pm there were 3 people in line. out the door by 4:01
    no lines.

haven't tried the beer yet. but yes it was 120 dollars a case which was a tad high for my liking. thought there would be a discount for grabbing a case.

i can say softly spoken is one of the best beers I've had from them, so if this ipa is great.
id say they are the best kept secret in New york at this point.

i also live next door if anyone needs any.

I thought it was 110 a case and 100 if you brought a pair of socks, maybe that's the pricing just on Workers?

I just opened a can and its OK, nothing really jumps out just a solid DIPA. Everything about it is very subtle to me and easy drinking.

workers on draft was very good, no SSMS to try but recent pictures of the last batch of ssms bottles looked hazily promising.

i will say, it was really strange not waiting in line for cans...

my friend got 2 of their new tulip glasses and the hat with the basket deal, plus an extra can of beer and a book to gift his dad for christmas. i'd say the basket worked out in his favor.

Workers and Harry Doesn't Mind are two of the best beers they've done. Haven't had this batch of SSMS though.

Get them Workers cans. Keep an eye out for Harry on draft!

Looks as though Workers has gone on tap at the taproom.

SSMS in cans is back to it's glory days. murky/hazy/hoppy greatness.

Made a long overdue visit to the taproom. Singlecut makes killer beers across the board. Their pils is superb and deserves to be in a sixer and in stores everywhere.

Eric Mocha Stout is the most coffee-laden beer I've had in ages and I got multiple pours and contemplated a growler fill---chose not to only because I was getting a couple of 4-packs and headed to Other Half afterwards (plus picked up some bourbon at the liquor store across the street, haha).

Heavy Boots of Lead and BA Heavy Boots of Lead were both on tap and both showed some early signs of infection, but strangely enough, I enjoyed both and even went in for seconds on the BA version (it gets incredibly tobacco-heavy and sweet as it warms).

I also love the prices on 5 ounce pours. Seem really fair to me.

It was nice to stop in, pick up cans, have some samples, and still make it to Other Half to pick up bottles. A successful outing.

    forgot to post these up:

Proof that the switch-up was real! (not that I'm saying it wasn't, just being funny):

SSMS is back to it's former self (those aren't floaties, it's lint from the drying towel):

I will snap a picture of Workers tonight when I crack the first can, on tap it was great.

Why would u be surprised? Their beers are overpriced too. Went from overpriced bottles to trying to fool people with $5 cans. Wow, at least it's cheaper than bottles!

I do think the beer prices are at least heading in the right direction. And the prices for pours at the brewery are fine by me and the pours are generous. I can not get down with their growler prices though.
