I don't know if any Singlecut employees with any decision making power frequent the forums here, but if they are going to start canning everything they used to bottle, and since they originally set out to be a lager brewery, I hope they start canning some pilsners for the summer, whether it's ones currently in their line-up, or they create some new lagers for the cans.

interesting, as they said originally they were selling cans at the brewery only..guess the demand is high

I wish more breweries participated here. My friend spoke to a Finback employee last night and he wasn't even aware of the shit show that happened at the release last weekend...

I havent bought anything from singlecut since picking up a case of BA heavy boots of lead on release day due to being disappointed with their can pricing but im actually a little excited to pick up a 4 pack of DDH softly spoken and jenny said next week, weird they didnt raise the price for DDH verisons like other breweries, I dont always understand/like their pricing but the BA heavy boots of lead was pretty reasonable and these DDH cans are around the right market price, cant say the same for their other beers

I know a lot of people here are from Queens and getting to Singlecut isn't a problem, but it seems to me like they are in a similar situation to Finback where cans just sit at the brewery. It's a trek for some people to get out there and they distro their bottles, so why not their cans? If they make it to D.C. they should be on ever bottle shops shelf in NYC.

Generally this is true, but Are You Ready Steve sold out very quickly. I imagine the same will be true for the DDH beers.

Do they make it to DC because they distribute there, or because of DC's weird grey laws? I assumed it was the latter.

I think their DIPA's were always double dry hopped. It's possible that they just added that to the labeling as a marketing point, similar to what Trillium has been doing for a while. Actually most of Singlecut's ales taste like Trillium clones to me. The first time I tried Melcher Street I thought I was drinking Bon Bon 2X.

^I think I recall hearing that their beers were all DDH in the past as well, when someone on instagram asked if this batch is different they said it has been DDH, would suck if its the same beer and they pulled a marketing move

If they are actually double dry hopped how is that a bad thing to now put that on the label? Aren't they just clarifying that fact? Seems people (even here on BA) were confused about that fact. It would be shitty if they did it and raised the price but that doesn't seem to be the case.
