Sip and Gandhi

If you want Gandhi then go to the brewery itself (opening finally on Wednesday, open 3-7 on Thurs.) and they will have it on tap for growler fills.

I haven't seen G-Bot in cans in a long time. Also, most of the Sip of Sunshine that dropped on 6/11 has all been picked up already. The bars tap it all over CT but it will only last a day or two before kicking. You would really have to stay on top of all the places and check their FB pages often to get it.

Good luck! Hopefully somebody out there has spotted some on the shelves for you. You might need to ask for it since some places keep it "in the back".

 

I am not sure of the exact date that NEBCO reopens. I would check the website. Both beers are hard to come by. Especially anything from NEBCO.

 

What BB wrote. I had Sip on tap in Fairfield Co at 7pm and the keg was kicked by 12. Tough beers to come by. Ducks and Galaxy as well.

So the is a 6/15 batch of gandhi, supposedly spotted in fairfield county yesterday. Looked for some today in new haven county with no luck.

Pro tip: As many others have said, Gandhi just isn't really worth chasing in cans. Go to the brewery, say hello to the fine NEBCO folks and grab a couple growlers.

 

It's funny, I don't think anyone really asks for it anymore. The last couple time I got it, it was offered to me. When I said, wow, did it just come in, the response has been, no, I've had it a couple days, no one asks for it anymore. THEN JUST PUT IT ON THE SHELF! But I'm not complaining that it's basically just getting offered to good customers now.

 

I wish everything would go on the damn shelf. You can still put limits on it...

But anyways, you are right, I don't even bother looking for it. I don't ask.

What do you want? Places get one case and all the regulars ask for it. Do you really think they want MORE random people coming in and asking for it? The biggest stores in each town get it, just like SoS, its not rocket science. Be a regular at a couple, watch the forums to know when to it lands and get some.

 

Picked up a 4pk of G-bot at Caraluzzis in Bethel tonight. They said it was the last one.

Cool, though I'd bet that's not a very common experience.

I'm regularly around Stamford & Danbury for work and all my regular spots are consistently inundated with people asking for it. I know of at least one that actually asked their distributor to stop giving them G-bot in favor of more Sea Hag since it flies of the shelfs with much less of the hassle.
