The only US craft brewer that operates a brewery that has an output of "millions of hectoliters" (hectoliter = .85 bbl) would be Boston Beer Co at their Breinigsville, PA facility - built by Schaefer with a stated capacity of 5 million barrels/year, though for a variety of reasons BBC's current barrelage and rated capacity is much lower than that. But her others references to US beer suggest that the Sister isn't real familiar with the current US "craft" scene...
It can taste like anything. It isn't a style, it's a way of brewing. Her beer, nice as it is, isn't a Zoigl as it isn't brewed in a communal brewery.
