I was pleasantly surprised and quite impressed with their west coast IPA. Worth checking out.

Anyone been down there recently and got to try that Simcoe Smash pale ale?

I sampled it yesterday to see if I wanted a crowler. I felt it was ok, it seemed a little thin/watered down and the flavor just wasn't there for me. I ended up not getting a crowler of it based on a small sample and quick snap judgement, so take it for what its worth.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! But I think I have tried just about every Sisyphus beer at this point I have to give this one a go too. Plus I'm a big Simcoe fan.

Sam has got a new beer on tap. It's called "The First Beer We Named." An all Citra IPA. And it is delicious. It starts off very soft and in the mid palate ramps up to those super juicy citra notes of tangerine and orange juices and it finishes damn clean.

Just thought I'd let you guys know; He just put it on tap yesterday.

@jonbonfondle sent me a crowler of the West Coast IPA. Reminded me a lot of Overrated. I really enjoyed it.

Yeah man! I do think it's pretty cool people are trading his beers around because they only make it out of the taproom in those crowlers.

Yeah from what Sam was saying, it sounds very intriguing.

Headed there today to try that Citra IPA. Can't wait!

Enjoying "The First Beer We Named" all Citra IPA right now. Very tasty and well balanced. Best Sisyphus beer I've had. Ready to have another. I'll recommend this one to friends. They also have a Citra session IPA as well for the DD's.

Nice talking with you this afternoon

As of 3:45 pretty tame at the taproom ( I was on bike, so don't know how bad traffic is), The Beer we named first was very good, I'm doing a Sue, Zdust , CW HHG, and Beer we named first side by side tomorrow. Should be fun to see what the order is

@Oneeighthcuban can correct me if IM wrong, but I believe it is a stout that was brewed with cake, vanilla and cinnamon

Nice talking with you as well. I've never had the Central Waters so I'm curious on your results. Keep us posted. I'm assuming your PseudoSue is a Brew Hub Sue so...

But, I have to say that Sisyphus' 750ml canning machine is really damn cool. First time I've seen one and I had to pick up a few to go. It's awesome being able to get a "to go big can" instead of adding to a ridiculous collection of growlers.

Correct on that, 10% abv. Unlikely the first beer we named makes it through the weekend. I was hoping we would still have some for anniversary week, but its just been too busy with the block party. We might Randall the cake beer with some peppers for part of the week, still undecided on that one.
