Site Access Issues

    Over the past few days, my browser shows BA "offline" at least half of the times I try to click-through. Is it possible that this is an issue with my ISP, or even my browser?

    Not just your issue. I am from the other side of the country, so different path/different CDN and I am still seeing the same issues as you. Page timeouts, long waits for page loads, 504/502 errors...

    Known issue. Combination of hosting growing pains and North American network issues at our CDN level. The latter is the current cause for service interruptions.

    This outage is pretty lousy. But I understand it's just how things break down and hopefully you guys can get it working just right eventually. Thanks again for your work.

    It seems like over the last two weeks that it has been getting progressively worse, like the one today seemed to be down for 3-4 hours.

    Oh well, I found other ways to get through my work day.

    Started in CA last week and thought it was just obvious west coast hate, now back in PA, yeah it continues.

    Run a popular non-beer forum myself and understand your pain. I don't think anyone is bitching, just a general heads up.

    I'm getting great speed with the site this morning.

    Edit: 6 minutes later I think I spoke a little too soon. Speed is just okay now.

    I think much of the frustration from users comes from the fact we have been reduced to actually working

    Hoping this 502 error goes away soon. Sad to try and post and read posts and get kicked out several times a day.
    Work isn't a problem, anymore, as they have blocked this site. :angry:

    It hit during GABF week too which is just unfortunate all around as a bunch of users are all trying to look stuff up and rate beers, and Todd & the staff are all trying to actually enjoy the week vs. working through issues with BA's provider. I feel for ya bros!

    EDIT: I'm now getting lag when the site is up, and 502 Bad Gateway the rest of the time. As for the cost, they should be refunding you money if it's their infrastructure problem, not you paying more.

    Getting 502 and 504 errors around 75% of the time now. Ridiculous.

    FWIW same problem in Germany last night (say, 9 to 12 hours ago) I was repeatedly getting 502 errors. Page showed connection to server in Frankfurt was okay, problem was between there and the site.

    Note that it is currently working very well :+1:
