Sixpoint 4Beans Imperial Porter

Just drank another 4 beans....I understand that I am biased, but this is up there with KBS, in my opinion. The fact that I can walk into almost any legit package store this summer and buy it (in season), makes it even better than KBS (which I will see maybe once a year...)

 

craft beer cellar in braintree had it, i know thats probably very far from ya but it is around

 

I actually picked mine up at the CBC in Westford! (I'm in the Andover area). I haven't been to the Braintree location but I'm a regular shopper at westford, great stores all around.

 

Still havent seen it in the albany ny area, which is really weird. I had it at BCTC and it was phenomenal.

 

In the Chi now, just picked up a 4pk at Beinny's @ 13.99! Will try it tomorrow.

Wow, that's expensive. I paid $68 for a case here in PA tax included.

Got my 3 cases of 4 Beans today at the store! Very excited to drink it tonight! 3 beans was awesome and judging by the comments this one might blow my mind.

 

3 cases??? Without trying it? Nice way to leave some for other people.

 

Does Sixpoint use the same yeast for 4 beans as Resin @Sixpoint?

 

yeah - one day having widespread distribution will be treated as a positive instead of a negative in these venues... We can tell you that as producers its much harder to make something amazing and also provide access, instead of making extremely limited quantities and manipulating the opinions...

Bought two four packs today in Chicago solely from seeing the thread on BA. Just opened the first and truly enjoyed. Can't compare to KBS but still super solid Porter. Going to bring one of the four packs to a wedding this weekend to share the greatness.

 

Outstanding! Rivals Victory at Sea for best in style. Definitely gonna grab another pack before it's gone.
