    It's landed in Columbus Ohio!
I only purchased three four packs, but might go back for a few more tomorrow if it's still available.
    Anderson's off Sawmill Rd, fyi.

Thanks for the info! After I posted I did a quick Un*apped search for it and found some people drinking it (I'm not sure if mentioning a competing app name will get my post removed here so I figure I should self-censor:wink:). I'll have to make my way up to NY soon. (aside: Diesel helped me survive Sandy when I was staying at my folks house on the shore)

Also, can't wait to try that new batch of Bengali. You guys have really been tweaking that recipe to near perfection. 5Beans is fantastic. Keep up the great work

I guess this is a matter of personal choice. To me, "dry" is a good thing. I love dry beers, especially a stout (or a imperial porter in this case). I thought the mouthfeel was really nice for a beer of such high gravity.

Who are you, or any of us for that matter, to judge another person just because they enjoyed 4Beans more than any other 'dark beer they've had'? Yeah....maybe he hasn't had many dark beers. Or perhaps he has. Who cares? It's just his own opinion. What is the point in saying this? This statement comes off as pretty condescending (unless I'm missing something here)

Judging by the only recent East Coast distribution, I'm assuming Southern California is still a week or so away?

Saw this at the Cherry Hill Wegmans yesterday. It was not priced but my guess would be $13-14 a four pack.

    Enjoy

WHAT?!? Piggly Wiggly closed in Market Commons?? I am visiting my folks in Myrtle Beach during the holidays...that means no craft store at all?!? I feel bad for myself...and even worst for you!

After enjoying four four packs of 4Beans last year, I was very disappointed by 5Beans. I could barely taste anything beyond an unpleasant yeasty fruitiness and couldn't finish more than half of the glass. Did Sixpoint change the yeast from last year? 4Beans was nothing like this.

Yup. It's really sucks for us locals.
Pavilion in North Myrtle beach or Greens in Myrtle are the only other options... but still not as good as the pig was.

Not sure where you are located, but Sixpoint is readily available in Chattanooga, TN. Nashville isn't the only place that gets it.

Love Sixpoint and 4Bean, I'm sure 5Bean is great too.
But there are so many great choices out there and only so much I can buy. 5Bean was $12.99 / 4pk while Victory at Sea was $13.99 / 6pk. So I went with the BP. One of the rare times that I saw BP as a better value.

Didn't realize Chatt got it. I'm in the NW corner of the state though. I do have family in Knox and I knew they didn't get any
And we didn't here in West TN

    That's awfully arrogant and condescending.
