Excited; 4Beans was limited in the Portland area, but the few cans I could find were ace.

There should be a new bean added each year. Imagine what kind of monster you'd get with 15Beans in 2026

Yes!!!!!!!!! 4Beans was a mean, boozy, delicious dessert beer. Inject more beans into my veins.

I'm in Buffalo for the weekend, I'll need to grab some 4Beans. Should be cool to do a side by side of 4 and 5 when it's released.

As a side note, have to say Sixpoint is absolutely awesome. I bought some of their Rad last year and 2 of the 4 cans weren't carbonated. I sent them an email, not as a complaint, just to inform them of the issued. They wound up sending the most awesome care package, and I have to say, I've been picking up stuff from them whenever I have a chance. Can't wait for 5Beans.

Also, if Sixpoint sees this, are there plans for more variations of the style? Just how many beans will we be talking in 2017?

Yes, you will definitely be seeing the 5Beans.

At this moment in time, we only have a 5Beans scheduled. But that is not to say we won't contemplate further derivatives of this fun formulation!

Sixpoint now has Texas distribution but no 4Beans. Hopefully they'll be getting 5Beans.

Cardamom can be very overpowering. Looking forward to taste how each flavor represents itself and the overall balance of this beer. Glad to see SixPoint continuing on with this series. Cheers!

Someone did do a jellybean beer a while back at the Extreme Beer Fest....did you try it?

    Yes, they definitely will.

But what happens when we run out of beans? :-)

I've never been to any beer festivals (I have neither the time nor the money). :slight_frown:

Certain beer festivals are not a good value, but some are an excellent value. If admission costs $50 and it provides you the potential to choose sampling from hundreds of different beers (many that you have never tried before) it is hard to find a better avenue to sampling at a lower price. Even the best bottle share cannot compare to that.

But yes, once you are a family man/woman, coordinating the time to be at a beer festival can be difficult for sure.
