We should see full distribution by November, and PA may be a little sooner than that. Cheers!

Glad to see you posting, Mikey. You can tell Shane that I told you that you're doing an excellent job filling in. Maybe too good.

I can’t confirm that Cleveland received an ample amount of Alpenflo, but I know @invertalon did because he probably drank more than me and that’s his backyard.

As for Binary, I will agree that it kind of slipped through the cracks. I never heard about it till after I saw it in a cooler which is unusual between here and Twitter. Anyway, it’s definitely not a NE style because I thought it was enjoyable. At least not the newer versions. It does has some lower bitterness, higher fruit qualities though. It is very smooth and very balanced. Nothing that pops like Resin, but a well made beer.

Mack's got a few cases of Alpenflo and S&K was another shop in Cleveland I grabbed another case from. Once those were gone, have not seen since.

@Sixpoint @SixpointMikey I had the pleasure to grab some Binary a few weeks ago and it really is a fantastic beer! It is instantly one of my favorites from you guys, just top notch. I already finished my six pack and so I'll run out and grab more (hopefully I can find it).

So what are your plans with Binary? Seasonal release or a one off. Thanks, great job Sixpoint.

I've come to find that Sixpoint's distribution is pretty bad and I'm only ~1.5 hours south of NYC where their supposed target market is. Maybe they do a lot better down in Tennessee.

@ChrisMon02 yeah, pretty much this. It's frusturating because they make good beer (I had regular Smoothie recently and it was mind blowing) and I want to support them but their limited availability and consistently old product on shelves (I saw a Belgali sixer dated October 2017 recently) make it tough for me to purchase their stuff even when I am able to find them.

I'm an hour and 25 minutes* from Sixpoint's Brooklyn facility and I can easily** find Sixpoint beers at all of the 6-8 liquor stores I frequent.

(* Just checked Google Maps. Used to be about 45 minutes at 7am, when I worked out of Middlesex County and drove a truck into Manhattan every day...)

But even if Sixpoint has a NJ rep, the availability of their beers in any particular NJ liquor store is more a factor of their NJ statewide distributor, Hunterdon, and, more importantly, the retailer itself - they either order Sixpoint's beer from Hunterdon or they don't.

** Well, maybe not always "easily" - that wasn't the case with the Alpenflo since several of the retailers tend to stock 12 packs in a separate area of the store than the sixes, even on the room temp shelves.

Interesting. The only places I've seen Alpenflo is Traino's in Marlton (showed up one time) and Total Wine in Cherry Hill. Roger Wilco in Pennsauken carrys pretty much every beer they can get their hands on (especially through Hunterdon) and they seem to have also slow rotating stock. Maybe the demand isn't what it once was in South Jersey?

That is crazy because they're all over the place out here in NorCal. A few months back there was a Sixpoint employee here doing beer tastings in Total Wine.

I had Meltdown at the brewery yesterday, through and through a NEIPA, very enjoyable! Interesting to see how a NEIPA for the masses like this will play out. I don't know anything about brewing, but I do know there is a difference between brewing something at a local brewery and not distributing and making a NEIPA that gets shipped across the country.

A little too high in ABV for me, at 8%, but a solid beer nonetheless.
