I see what a lot of you are saying with looking it up on a brewery website, looking up reviews on BA and learning what the combination of SRM/ABV/IBU means for how it may taste, but that seems like a lot of work to buy a few beers.

A lot of us on this website are probably a lot more likely to do one of these (or more) but for an average beer drinker who wants an IIPA, Sixpoint loses them because they refuse to label Resin as an IIPA when it is by style definition a IIPA

Honestly, my opinion on Sixpoint is simple: everything they make is delicious.

So I couldn't care less what style Resin or Sweet Action are supposed to be. I prefer the style that they are: freakingawesomebrau. (That's BJCP 29, btw.)

Are you bitching about people bitching? That makes it more fun!

How hard is it to look something up on Untappd? I do that all the the time and am frequently asked about beers while doing it.

Pretty much. Just seems as of late there is an abnormally high amount on here.

    Welcome to the net.

We are all guilty at least a little.

As this site grows, it'll get worse.

It's been bad for awhile actually. Especially on the main forums (general, releases, etc). I've been coming here off and on for 5 years and it's always been like this. The point is, there's no need to lash out at people. If you disagree, then say so with class. This is a great place for networking, obtaining beers and drinking buddies. No need for the negative behavior.

As for the complaints about the cans, I can understand both sides of of the argument. Some people shop according to style. If a brewery doesn't brew to style...it's a potential customer lost. That's not really bitching, that's just fact. However, anyone with a smart phone can do a quick search on BA and find out what style a beer is. Going back again...some people feel they shouldn't have to do that. I'm bitching at myself now, how's that?

    You got a purdy mouth.

Any time I come off as such it's generally meant in jest. I'm generally pretty likable. No matter what these yahoos say!

    It's not that I don't have a clue. It's that I don't give a $hit.

When I want to know what to expect, I don't generally get a beer I haven't had before.

Not my fave... too thick and syrupy. It's like a better DFH120, but that's not saying much to me.
