From Craft Brewed: Sixpoint Nashville Release on May 2 "Sixpoint out of Brookyln is coming to town! We're doing it big, as usual. You can expect Resin, of course. Plus many of their other delicious brews on tap and in cans. Boom baby." Nice.
This is awesome news. First Nashville, then maybe Knoxville... I had no idea @Sixpoint was finally braving the waters here.
Surprised me, as well. I haven't been able to find anything other than Craft Brewed's release party announcement. Nothing on Sixpoint's website, no announcements from local distributors, no press releases or mentions on social media. Makes me a little nervous, but for now I'm going to remain trusting and naive and just go with it.
Sixpoint is already in Chattanooga. Been enjoying Resin, Bengali, and Sweet Action the last few weeks.
They are with bounty bev. They have been dropping of samples at local stores for employees and such to try. Also im surprised it took so long to hit here, as alot of their beer is made in memphis . Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Greatly appreciate the update. No surprise on Bounty Bev, as they've become the dominant distribution player for many of the big craft brands that have (finally) come to the Nashville market over the past few years.
Im more surprised that no one is talking about Perennial coming to town. Thats more exciting to me really .
TN's wholesale taxes and laws were so bad for so long that there was minimal flow of new craft brands into the state for years. That started to change 3 or 4 years ago, and growing markets like Nashville have quickly become appealing to out-of-state brewers, so we've started to see a steady in-flow of new brands, especially over the last year or two. Feels like that in-flow has ramped up even further recently, to where it's now getting tough to keep track of it all.
Yeah i hear that. The law change july 4th wine/ jan 1st for beer will be a huge win for all of us. Very happy about it.
I heard it will slowly show up, probably a couple cases here and there. Most of the sought after bottles will show up later in the year anyways.
