They apparently brewed a beer by the same name back in 2005. It was an American Strong Ale.

"The Global Warmer is our third brew to go in tall, slim, cans and is 7% ABV and a searing 70 IBUs."

    Creative.

    Having one now.

It's weird, but good. Pretty citrusy IPA hopping (with clear late hop additions, very floral), but spicy and creamy like a winter ale. Unexpected, but tasty.

Digging it. Reminds me pleasantly of a slightly spicier Nugget Nectar. Don't really see much Winter in it outside of the spice suggestions on the aftertaste, but I don't see that as a negative.

Is this a Lion brewed beer? Cans would indicate so. I'm told 3 Bean will not be seen this winter.

All Sixpoint canned brews are made at the Lion Brewery in Wilkes-Barre, PA, yes.....old news

Got a 4 pk of the new Global Warmer last evening; not sure why this would be even remotely considered a "winter warmer", it is a hopped up IPA....good, but nothing stellar

Just got to try this yesterday at the Great Brewers event. There is as noticeable hop presence and some spice notes. Smooth beer. Not jaw-dropping but worth a try.

They're not doing 3Beans this season. From what I gathered by speaking to someone at the brewery, it was prohibitively expensive to produce.

Sounds similar to the new Belgium, but hoppier. I will pick some up for the weekend

I hope they don't discontinue 3Beans. I thought it was a wonderful beer.

It tasted to me like a hoppy American amber. I didn't really get any spices in the flavor or the nose.

Ditto. Picked up a 4 last week not knowing what to expect, but I'd say that description is dead on. I wouldn't get it again.
