Would love to but there simply is not enough liquid to do it. As it stands we are looking at an extremely limited quantity to be released, probably somewhere around 30 kegs for the entire country.

Drank two during the day. both poured in to a large 16oz glass, and measured with tape. Once consumed, I filled to the tape with water and then poured that in two different measuring cups. both at 12 oz.

Should put to rest any worries of these mysterious "11oz" cans that have been mentioned in this thread.

That sounds like very taxing research.

Is it just me does this beer have a bit of a garlic or onion nose and taste to it?

I could imagine that. I think the "dankness" and some of the alcohol could give off that kind of favor.

Thank you very much for the insight. I asked that very question over a year ago and was given the runaround without any actual answer and basically told that my palate was wrong because I found 3 out of 4 cans of Resin to be very sweet for a DIPA. I had thought maybe freshness could have been an issue since the cans were not stored in a cooler at the store I had purchased them from. For this reason I had no purchased any Sixpoint beers from a beer store since, because I did not know how fresh they were. I now know how old the cans are and can base my decision to purchase off of that, so thanks again. I'll now revisit Resin next time I see some fresh ones.

Wow, please ANYTIME that something like that happens again reach out directly to the brewery and ask for Shane or one of the brewers. All customers should receive nothing but the gold standard for customer service, ESPECIALLY when it comes to questions regarding the product.

Yes, I agree, but I don't mean that in a negative way. It reminds me of Founders Devil Dancer and OB Deiant Dave in that regard. That was why, in my post a few pages back, I said how I could see how the hop profile could be polarizing, but that I loved it. I enjoy those other two beers mentioned as well.

Next time I will be sure to do that. Anyway, bought some Hi-Res today and is definitely one tasty beer. I knew the booziness would be there but I am pleasantly surprised it has a nice balance for the ABV and also finishes decently dry yet again for the ABV. You guys have a winner here. Now make Diesel year round.

I have these two blind. I thought they as double digit ABV beers with tons of hops, would be a good comparison.

I will say. I like Hi-Res slightly more. Thanks a lot a Sixpoint!!!

Saw this in a few stores & it was described to me as an imperial IPA.
