YES! Other Half has been getting so much hype around NYC and while it is good and I am definitely a fan of the brewery, Sixpoint still reigns in the Big Apple. Maybe it's because Sixpoint has a distro that spans across many states so it isn't "cool" to say Sixpoint is your favorite NYC brewery. Other Half has some pretty meh beers. Sixpoint is solid beer after solid beer. Go blind taste test Hi-Res and All Green Everything. You don't even need to tell me who wins...

    HI-RES >>> ALL GREEN EVERYTHING

    Vincent,
Feel free to hit me up for the most up to date info on Sixpoint in MD. I have to plug the Sixpoint "Beer Finder" app here of course, but don't hesitate to get at me directly.
Also, there are many events coming up with some limited drafts as well as our core beers. It's always great to run into a fellow BA and chat over some beers, so let me know if you can make it to an event. Cheers!

I haven't had a bad Sixpoint beer yet. Through all of my beer ADD and ticking, Resin has become one of the few staples that I always try to keep in my fridge.

No, but if it were yummy, on par with what I typically drink here out West, and readily available, then I would probably buy it.

Much appreciated! I'll be sure to hit you up before I go out looking next time. Do you post the events here and/or on the Sixpoint website?

Sixpoint makes quality, tasty beer at decent prices, and I freaking love their cool cans. That makes them one of my favorite breweries as well. I only have one minor complaint - their best by dates are way too far out on their hoppy beers. Resin and Bengali should have best by dates of three or four months, not nine. Aside from that, though, I love them, and that's better than not having best by dates at all.

We took your advice and Resin has been shortened to 7 months.

Wow, really? "Great move"? So you would buy an IPA on the shelf that had a born on date north of half a year ago? Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

It's still an improvement. I won't buy them older than three or four months old, though.

sixpoint is cool. unique, cool cans and good beers. u know more than I do about them but i'm on board. theyre just not my favorite brewery. I don't have a favorite brewery really. but I will say resin is up there for my DIPA's that are readily available, and one that you can drink strait from the can? hell yea. and Bengali some nice shit there, unique hop profile that u don't get with the typical American ipa. gose was aiight too, but I honestly wont be making a second round on that brew :-x . good stuff though, cool stuff u pointed out about six point and proud to say theyre somewhat local (relatively local anyway)

I am a big Six Point fan myself, but I have to be honest, I didn't like Jammer at all. Otherwise, 3 Beans, Hi Res and RAD are my favorites from them.
