    Tap Room Hours: Only open during Saturday releases for now.

    How to Get There Via Mass Transit
    • Take the F/G to Smith-9th Street, then either (1) walk over (15 minutes), or (2) take the B61 from the corner of Smith and W 9th
    • Take the free Ikea ferry from Pier 11 in the Financial District
    • Take some damn subway from Manhattan and hop on the B57. Useful stops are at Court St and Schermerhorn St (for Borough Hall and the 4/5) and Jay St/Willoughby St (for Jay St – MetroTech and the A/C)
    Current Tap List: @Sixpoint often gives us a heads up the week of the release as to what will be available on tap during the release, but it’s subject to change. Currently tasters and $6 pints of select beers.

    Growler Fills: None for now.

    Can and Bottle Sales: See below for this month’s release.

    Outside beer: Nada.

    Kids and Dogs: OK for now, but the space in the courtyard is rather limited, so it is not an ideal space for either. A few small dogs have made appearances.

    Swag: https://merch.sixpoint.com/. Items also for sale through the App and in the courtyard on release day.

    Local Eats: As always, there will be a food vendor at Sixpoint during the release party. For before or afterwards, check out: Fort Defiance, Red Hook Lobster Pound, The Good Fork, Hometown Bar-B-Que, Defontes, Grindhaus (opens at 5 PM), plus a lot of other place on Van Brunt St near Pioneer.

    Nearby Drinking Establishment (20 minute walk): Van Brunt Stillhouse, Rocky Sullivan’s, Sunny’s Bar, Brooklyn Ice House, Seaborne.

    App: Required to purchase small-batch releases and/or merch, and doing so will create a QR code that provides access to the courtyard on release day. Find it on the App Store or Google Play.

    Tequila Jammer    : 8% Imperial Gose with Orange Peel, aged in Tequila barrels; $18 per 6-pack
    Yuzu Jammer: 4% Gose with Yuzu, Thai Basil, Kaffir Lime and Habanero sea salt; $15 per 6-pack
    Gin Jammer: 8% Imperial Gose with Juniper berries, aged in Gin barrels; $18 per 6-pack

    There’s also an unconfirmed rumor that the Mayor of Sixpoint (@mcshk) will finally be seen sans collared shirt but instead wearing the limited release Jammer shirt:

    Beers go on sale June 11 at 12PM EST, release day is June 16, 10-4PM. Additional pickup times on the 18th and 19th available through the app at time of purchase. See you on the 16th!

    Only a matter of time when a new beer is named “The Mayor” :slight_smile:! Will leave it up to the creative marketing types for the creative aspects of this endeavor!

    Pretty bummed that I'll probably have to miss out on the release party since I'll be home for Father's Day but I'm still excited to try the final version of the Yuzu Jammer.

    This release looks great, I really enjoyed the Citrus Jammer when I was at the last relase. @Sixpoint that shirt looks RAD, can we get a better res pic?

    here's a photo of the benchtop tasting/blending session of the Yuzu jammer....

    as you can see that yuzu juice is wild! almost looks like buttermilk....

    It would be very helpful if limits are posted before the release---last release was troublesome because the app didn't show limits, and order submission failed without an error message if you tried to order more than one bottle...

    That yuzu sounds like the perfect summer beer, sour, citrus, salty, with a bit of a spicy kick at the end? Wow. beach or bbq beer for sure.

    Hmmmm....that shouldn't be. I'm pretty sure that the profile screen identified what the limit per person was. However, it sounds like this limit may not have been applied to the drop-down screen though. I can check with the tech team if that was the case. Did this prevent you from purchasing successfully? Please let us know if that was the case. We'll rectify it.

    Yuzu is definitely one of the most dynamic citrus fruits on the planet. However, integrating it into beer properly has proven to be easier said than done!

    Per Instagram, the app and a marketing email, release on 6/16 will be from 11 AM to 7 PM. What I wrote in the original post is not correct. I'm happy for this to be the reason I'm wrong!

    Thanks for the response! The profile screen might have shown limits---I don't think I looked at it, since I knew from BA what I wanted to order. :wink: So I got hung up on the drop-down. I missed out on the bottles as a result, but was able to get Blackberry Raspy, so I was still a pretty happy camper.

    @Sixpoint chances if I purchase we can arrange for a week day pick up during teh day as opposed to the hours on the app?

    Just used the app for the first time. My wife and I will be over on Saturday afternoon, really pumped to check it out. There is an area to hang out for a pour or two when we come over right?

    I’ll be there. Particularly excited to try Tequila Jammer...the only other tequila BA beer I’ve had is Kane Cortijo, which I really enjoyed. I’m not much of a tequila guy so I was surprised at how much I liked that one

    Yep. Releases happen in a courtyard area where you can try things on draft, or buy a full pour or few.

    Yes, we implemented this feature a while back due to customer request....you are able to select alternative pickup dates the following week, if you cannot make it on the weekend...

    past couple of releases have been fun as the formulations/styles have become more exotic and unorthodox....we think you are going to dig this Tequila Jammer (hope you like orange!)
