Sixpoint leaving Ga?

No but that is sad. Some quality brews. Guess they're not getting the sales they were looking for.

 

Haven't heard that, but I'm pretty sure they're Atlanta only currently. One of the brands I wish we would see in Middle GA.

 

Very likely from my source. Biggest problem we had was getting fresh deliveries, last year almost everything was past date when it landed. This past year has been better, but it's still coming in very limited amounts.

 

Yeah, most of the stuff we got was out of date, or near out of date... Good stuff, even the kegs were tasty I had, but... ehh.. If they want to pull out, then so be it. I agree the local scene is starting to get really hot.

 

I agree with you guys as well. Sixpoint does some great beers and will be missed. Hard to grab month+ resin or hi-res when you pass right by weeks old tropicallia and transmigration, burnt hickory bombers, damn--it is getting good!!

Indeed. We got Hi-Res, although it came and went within a day. I still have some Bengali on the shelf, but even Beast Mode was so limited I only could buy a single case. The sad thing is, they killed 3 Beans. That beer was by far the best thing to ever come out of New York.

 

I found a can of it in the back of one of my fridges..... still have it too..

 

I can only assume you meant "by far the best thing to ever be distributed out of New York," right?!
