Great time meeting you all. Hopefully next time I can get there at 1230 as planned so I have more than 45 mins to hang. Beers were stellar and thanks to @Sixpoint for hosting us.

Fantastic time again today, thanks @Sixpoint and all the rest of the staff for the hospitality! Really diverse set of beer today, all really good in their own way. The Blackberry Raspy really something special. Usual cast of characters there, but also good to add @BoardwalkBock and @rojapa to the mix.

+1 to Black Raspy. It's tart, jammy, and crisp. I want this in my fridge all summer!

Thanks to @Sixpoint for hosting the fun release party. I was very happy to have reformulated Puff on tap. My only regret is being able to buy just one bottle of Wild Raspy. Great to see a barrel-aged wild ale on offer from a local brewer.

I'm genuinely curious as to what you see as being "infinitely less convenient" with purchasing via an app, where you are presented the lineup of beers in advance, provided a full description of the beers, and the price and sale date/time weeks in advance, along with the ability to opt in with push notifications to alert you as to when the beers will go on sale.

If you have a user profile, it only takes a matter of seconds to purchase, and the inventory of the beers is completely transparent to the user. As a matter of fact, you can watch the exact number in real-time from your own phone or tablet without having to refresh your browser or app. And if you are not able to purchase the beers you want, you would not waste any time waiting in line because you'd know the inventory situation. And if you did purchase the beers you want, you still would spend zero time in line. Just show up and pick up your allotment at your leisure.

How is this infinitely less convenient than having to scroll through and refresh a beer forum or Instagram page, where the inventory is estimated (i.e. inaccurate), and even if it were accurate, you could not guarantee your supply? And its still likely you would have to wait in line to absolutely guarantee your supply?

I know tone is hard to detect sometimes on here, but I'm not trying to be snarky at all. I'm genuinely curious as to what your thoughts are here. TIA!

Great meeting you too! Also great to meet @rojapa for the first time, and good to see @Feaor again. And of course, all of the usual faces. Perhaps next month @jrnyc can provide us with a better weather report :-)

We might have a couple of kegs of this available for next month's release....I'd have to check though. On that note, we have a really rad event planned for June...once again, its a totally different themed release with a dynamic range of beers....this time its going to be a Jammer fest, including a Tequila barrel-aged Imperial Gose with orange, and a Gin barrel-aged Imperial Gose with juniper berries....and a special Yuzu Jammer as well...plus other treats. Looking forward to this one!

    cheers

Tasted all the new ones as well and feel the same way All 4 very different styles and each a high quality representation Raspy also my favorite, really nice and I can see how many people who don't like beer would go nuts for it; I could see some similarities to some of the HVB beers even though these are very different styles and processes. These last 2 releases have made a believer out of me,
Seems like these are getting better and better and we are lucky to have such great beers!

Congrats to Shane, Eric and the crew, and can't wait to taste the future.!

while I missed Fruit Smoothie and Raspy despite @rojapa's best efforts, Smothie is pretty solid. Really nice feel and base beer, but I think it gets outshined when compared to beers with 7-8 lbs of hops per bbl for that bracing, teeth stripping saturation I know some of us enjoy. As I said, still delicious.

Need some Raspy Sauce recipe ideas - all I can think of is making mayo or adding some gelatin/pectin and making a jammier spread for charcuterie.
