The Meltdown is a total triumph of that style for the scale and distribution it was produced at. I am confident you will agree.

As Mikey already stated, it will be on tap at this week's release. Looking forward to seeing many of you there. There will be a special toast to the Mayor.

Bittersweet day at Sixpoint yesterday as we remembered and celebrated the life of the "Mayor of Sixpoint", Mark. We were privileged to know and be friends with a one of a kind person who was incredibly friendly, generous, positive and touched everyone he met. The Sixpoint family, the BA family and his family and friends had the opportunity to come together yesterday and feel the full power of who he was and the love of one big family.

Sixpoint has always been the epitome of a world class customer oriented organization, but yesterday exceeded all expectations with their compassion, generosity and everything they did for everyone there yesterday. Shane, Eric, Julie, Mikey and too many other names to mention, thank you from all of us, I can't put any more words to how awesome you and all of the people there are. Mark loved Sixpoint and surely was looking down to see how wonderful Sixpoint was yesterday.

@Sixpoint do you happen to know what date the November release is planned for?

 

Smooth Raspy is excellent, had one over the weekend.
Had Sparkler last night, really enjoyed, very nice smell, refreshing and dry at the same time.
Meltdown has that great mosaic smell and is a NEIPA through and through.
Had SHHH at the release, but it was a bit of a blur, but I remember it being super solid for the style.

Bean day should be awesome.

Sixpoint is really making a wide variety of different styles, all with that own little nuances, some really good stuff.

 

Nope! It's got such a nice full mouthfeel that I can see how you might think so.

Yup that's right.

The Horchata is insane... strongest beer we've made since I've been here at least (6 years) and easily the highest finishing gravity. Unreal. The designs Jack is working on are amazing too.

Came here just to praise Meltdown. This beer is absolutely phenomenal! Super happy to have been getting some Sixpoint beers here in San Diego for the past ~6 months or so. Please keep them coming @Sixpoint!

 

Now that winter is approaching, I'd love to see a reappearance of some version of Global Warmer...one of my favorite Sixpoint beers...

 

Ditto. Just had my first Meltdown and absolutely loved it. Apologies if this has already been covered, but is Meltdown going to be a year-round offering? Or recurring limited release?

 

Would nice to see another version of this too with different hops.

 

Yes Meltdown is limited, but it's part of a new IPA series called Infinite Loop. We'll be releasing a new beer every few months. I'm really pumped about the three coming up in 2019...

 

Havent seen Meltdown anywhere - I need to get my hands on it. Anyone see it on LI recently?
