Worked out pretty well for some brewery named Sierra Nevada. Seems to be doing the same for Sixpoint.

The question is 1 pack, or 2? Lol. What is the BB on these?

Pretty much...first 4 pack was dusted during the Warriors game. Somehow I awoke during the 4th quarter to see the end of the game. I subsequently slept like a baby.

Sure, its really good. Am I crazy to think I like regular Resin more?

Its pretty interesting to see the feedback among Resin, Hi-Res, and PUFF. The differences among the three appeal to different palates.

I think it's a great beer, don't get me wrong. I'm glad I bought enough to take back. I was really trying to approach PUFF with a different mindset than Hi Res or Resin; e.g., being more juicy. However, I wouldn't call it juicy though. It seemed a little softer and slightly more aromatic than Hi Res, but showed the alcohol a bit more so than Resin to palate. At the end of the day, I'm happy...and I'll drink it:wink:

TW Boca told me yesterday they were set to receive 8 cases, 1 4pack pp. I go today, they have a whole display, no limit lol. 2 packs from home

I am hoping for a more juicier beer my shelf. Also the evidence of alcohol in the taste of a beer is what I dont like about double IPAs to much, but hey its part of the style, so no flaw there. Anyways still looking forward to it, I just hope its not a sweet syrupy kind of double IPA, I really hate "sugary" double IPAs.

It is most definitely not sugary - we also have a disdain for those types of beer (we consider them unfermented, or partially fermented) - the PUFF actually fermented drier than the Resin.

Awesome I am really glad to here that. But if this beer becomes to successful then you might have to start brewing your beers again like you did in 2004/2005  imagine that..... a full circle, from cloudy to filtered and then back to cloudy.

You should have seen the look on people's faces when we were trying to sell these types of beers over 10 years ago....most people thought there was something seriously wrong!

Both styles have their merits - I don't think you have to adhere to one or the other. We first consume beer with our eyes - and some people prefer the look of a brilliant beer. It certainly looks proper when sinking a few Helles in a biergarten.

We think the most important thing is that its executed well - i.e. there is a level of consistency and precise level of certain specifications.

Yep I can only imagine. I always liked them that way though. Anyways just took a little lunch break and I came back with a little more than just lunch:

Yeah...it's not sugary at all. It's quite dry...like a big IIPA should be. It's a cloudy, softer, and slightly more aromatic Hi Res. Can't beat that!

Went back and grabbed two more 4 packs before it is all gone.

@Sixpoint You guys should seriously consider making Puff a regular offering.

I hope this hits Chicago before the holiday weekend. This beer is calling my name. Damn those clam bake sessions!
