Sixpoint Puff

That's one issue I hate with newly released beers. Most shops I call have never heard of it and make me question whether I have the name right lol.

"U got sixpoint puff? Like puff the magic dragon." A phrase I repeated too many times this week

 

I can assure you this is a thorn in our side as well....but in the retailers' defense, there simply are so many products out there these days, you cannot expect every clerk in the store to be aware of every new product release

 

Very good beer. May have to go hunting for more tomorrow.

 

I stumbled upon Puff tonight at a store by my doctor's office. They only got in one case, so I have a feeling that if you don't get some within the first week you may be out of luck. Then again, maybe TW is hogging it all in Bergen County . Either way- good hunting everybody!

 

Just picked up a case. This is the quickest a new Sixpoint release has ever hit Lancaster Co., and boy am I glad!
BB24AUG2016, with a 90 day shelf life THAT'S FRESH! First impression is a huge aroma. Poured in my Pretentious Sauvin glass I'm hit with cloud after cloud of perfumy, juicy ripe fruit, resinous hops, faint herbs in the back, just overwhelming. Taste follows suit with tons of hop bitterness up front. A raw, beauty of an ale. No floaties. An unfiltered ale thats still a treat to stare at in the glass.

 

Fast seller here! The bottle shop I work at in NE Ohio got 3 cases today and sold out in 2 hours. Luckily my rep has us down for 3 more for next week that he saved for us.

 

Tried Puff for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it!

 

Any word on SE PA dropping? Been looking. Got nothin. Do a solid and tell us when to look!

 

Damn. When I went beer shopping on Monday I didn't see it anywhere. I didn't expect it to be chased so hard! Certainly not "sell out in hours" level chasing. Damn!

I figured I'd be able to go out for a Friday beer run and find some no problem...

 

Sixpoint did an event near me to celebrate the can release of Puff; it didn't taste quite like I expected it to, but it still tasted great, and they were handing out free tasters of Bengali, so win win!

 

NC sold out already at the wholesaler level.

Hey @Sixpoint -- I have yet to see this at any of my locals in Manhattan. Any update?

 

Also, any update on when fresh Resin batch is hitting?

 

Grabbed 2 4 packs, my wife had a couple last night AFTER pregaming with a glass of wine. I gave her fair warning they were 10%

 

Still havent seen any in Nashville...

 

It was indeed!

 

Both the fresh Resin and the PUFF are actively being distributed right now in NYC. There should be dozens of places in your general area that have it by next week.

I'm loving this. Bought a second four pack today.

 

Excellent beer, but I think the hype/build up of this release caused a bit of a letdown for me. Although different beers, I personally think resin and puff are equal in my level of enjoyment

Resin has long been a go-to for me and this would be as well if it was a year round brew.

Actually I saw it just showed up at a local shop
