Not really excited for sixpoint brews new or existing , while they somewhat good brews they are so pedestrian of course IMO.

    Huh. Okay. Well . . .

All I had to contribute was my opinion that Resin and Hi-Res are both very good to outstanding, depending on the recipe/batch, so if this is an unfiltered middleground between those two I have a hard time seeing how this beer could possibly go wrong.

Also, I'm curious if "cloudy" is going to be unfiltered-type hazy, or milkshake-type cloudy. Either way, I'm buying.

One of the best replies i have even seen you post ;-) You came to MN last year and have bought maybe 3 6pks/4pks, too much good beer out there.

its true though, right? We don't try to make beers that appeal to everyone. We'd rather be who we are - some will like it, some won't.

If you try to appease everyone, you appeal to no one.

Pedestrian again is the best description for your brews, i will try Puff but wont buy it again most likely as with all the brews on the shelf , they dont appeal to me. So many others that are better, we live in a beer nirvana.

Its probably a good thing that our brews don't appeal to you, as you are so inherently biased that you've made up your opinion before even trying something!

You would probably benefit from doing a blind tasting ;-)

You're not the only one. This will be a try it and leave it situation, unless it appeals to me as much as Resin does. The fact that the last two beers to come into Oklahoma (i.e. Jammer & C.R.E.A.M) were unanimously panned by ~20 people (6 bartenders, 3 bar owners, 4 liquor store clerks, 7 friends) that I regularly talk to about beer, doesn't leave much hope left on the table.

Hate the can design, but will definitely try it if I see it around me. So far, Resin has been my favorite Sixpoint beer so I'm hopeful it'll be similar in flavor.

Edit: What's up with everyone being jerks to each other on this forum these days? Can't we all just drink and be happy? :sunglasses:

There is this phenomenon of when you get to have a public discourse with someone on a message board, you can talk tough and even sling insults and feel big and strong, even if you are typing away in your mom's basement.

Of course, when the same person is presented an opportunity to talk about it in person, they usually run and hide.

Its as old as the hills man - that's why its better to just keep it civil and polite!

Have enjoyed a bunch of stuff by them and would love to try this if it makes its way over to Portlandia.

Keep on keepin' on, @Sixpoint !

I'm not blowing kisses, Mr Point, but I think Resin and Hi-Res suit me just fine, and Puff will come home with me too. I will say also I pay shipping to get Surly Abrasive and Todd in my fridge. Some may throw stones at this, but I would like to see Sixpoint take a whack at Even Keel session style IPA. Thank you, sir.

I like the can and I am very excited to try this. I also can not imagine calling sixpoint beers pedestrian. They make excellent, consistent and available beers. Anything but pedestrian.

We intentionally built a business that focuses on quality, consistency, and customer service as opposed to hype, scarcity, and inconsistency. We believe this will be the most sustainable path forward.

Let's get back to focusing on this release. How about some more details from @Sixpoint??? Can you share anything else about this beer that hasn't already been mentioned in any of the linked posts?

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but what brings the ABV up above where Resin is at?

So I'm guessing this is an attempt to jump on the NE haze train? A Tree House/Trillium style IPA? Too bad it comes in 12oz cans instead of 16oz cans. I always seem to finish these cans super quickly and then realize that while they're shaped like 16oz cans they, sadly, are not.
