I saw one on the back wall in an odd place like some other customer put it there changing their mind. Which is odd because i asked if they had it and said no. They are most likely keeping them in the back but it pisses me off that they said no but i physically saw it. And to be honest they got Resin at around $16 a six idk if thats sixpoints price or theirs but they are odd with big releases so i was thinking theyd jack puff up way too high and i have a beer budget so Ill find it else where.

well Silent Bob....that's kinda odd because I usually see Resin for about $12 for a sixer in Jersey, no doubt a bargain :-)

That is quite fine. I just believe they are taking advantage of a new release and marking up prices.

Heh. Yeah. When I was doing my review, I think I might have ruined the taste some by trying to get it cold quick, putting it in the freezer with a damp paper towel around it. The whole character of the beer changed into a weirdly ice-cream-y, very creamy orange dreamsicle-y thing. It was okay, but it wasn't like the ones I'd tasted a week prior. The rest of the Puffs that I left in the fridge all tasted fine, but Mandarina Bavaria was the only hop I've ever encountered capable of putting off an orange dreamsicle vibe, so I thought I'd give it a guess!

Anyway, I have since edited my review of Puff now that I can go off of an uncompromised beer!

Just cracked my first of 4 cans of this stuff and I'm loving it. I'll have to grab a few more packs before it's gone.

I finally got this last week and had one over the weekend. It might be my favorite Sixpoint beer. It's very very very good.

perhaps that is an incentive for us to make it a regular release? :-)

We love that hop as well - very distinctive flavor and aroma, nothing quite like it. We'll be working closer with it in the next few years....

The keg we had of Puff was not very tasty during the first few pours then it cleared up a bit and tasted great. The last 5-6 pours looked like chocolate milk and didn't taste right. I get that unfiltered beer preserves a certain amount of flavor but when it pours like milk and the flavor is off, what is the point?

I still prefer Resin but this beer is sex in a can. I've only had it once but I just purchased a 6 pack so I expect to have a hopgasm later this week.

    Yep, 4-pack.

Wish it was a 6 pack.

The keg was most likely jostled while it was tapped. In cramped keg rooms people are constantly shuffling around kegs which can agitate unfiltered beer.

Puff is better than Resin, I have decided. But at the price, I'll be drinking it less often...

If anyone in Philly or SNJ is still looking I spotted 6-8 4 packs on the shelf at Martins in Mt Laurel tonight

I didn't think about that. We through a lot of beer so kegs usually get tapped the day of or after we get it.
