Was stoked to see this on the shelves in Iowa as I was traveling through today. Grabbed a 4 pack and sorry to say was bummed from the get go. Sugar/malt bomb with zero hop flavor. Alcohol was hidden but it was so unbelievably sweet. Had two sips and poured it. Have enjoyed most Sixpoint beers in the past, this however was disappointing.

Is that why we are not seeing any Puff in Illinois? If so, that blows goats.

Is it me, or is the SixPoint beerfinder useless? The resolution seems to be off, and it's cutting off the sides of the maps, etc. Plus, I don't see Puff anywhere in the Philadelphia suburbs, outside of getting full cases at a distributor. Love their stuff and want to try it, but don't see any :slight_frown:

Have you tried Wegmans or Whole Foods. How about local bottleshops?

I totally get what you're saying. I enjoyed it and gave it a decent review, but found it to be a little too syrupy/sweet. That seems to be par for the course for DIPAs north of 9-10% though. I find IPAs in the 6-9% abv range to be much more enjoyable overall - no syrupy booziness that can overtake the hops.

wow, your experience is so wildly divergent with the majority of everyone else who tried it....perhaps the beer was not stored properly prior to consumption? if the hop character faded that much....

it definitely should not be acting that way - are you SURE that you downloaded the most recent version of the app? If not, check out the update in the app store...if problem still persists, send us an email and I'll direct you to our tech department

if you like IPAs in the 6-9% range....we got something special for you later this year....

I live three minutes away from Wegman's in Collegeville and I haven't seen anything yet. Plus, the beer finder doesn't show anything at the Wegman's in KOP or Collegeville.

I don't use the app, I like using the webpage. The webpage seems to have a formatting issue where the data to the left and right is being pushed off the screen.

ok then - this is most likely a formatting error on your browser, but if you want to communicate directly with our tech team, they can verify and fix it for you

Had my first Sweet Action with my rib dinner last night, followed by a Puff with a ballgame on TV. Life is good. I'm still riding that Resin/Puff fence, however. Gotta keep trying 'til it's settled.

Recently picked up some Puff over in Wisconsin, it's thoroughly enjoyable, @Sixpoint

Now if you guys can work on some SE Michigan distribution....

Wegmans in Collegeville received seven cases of Puff and Wegman's KOP received five cases. It's possible that it was all scooped up as soon as it hit the coolers.

Also, just a heads up that Kunda Beverage received five cases, KOP Beer received three cases and Austin Beer in Collegeville received two cases.

I think you missed it. They had it out, at least for a week or two.

Evidently, still looking patiently but it seems grim as other areas are getting restocked with Puff
My go to shop has been out of Resin for weeks too

No Puff and slim pickins' on any Sixpoint brews in all the bottleshops around me as well. No response from Sixpoint about any posts regarding Puff in Illinois or the rumor that they are pulling out of the Chicago market. Care to update us @Sixpoint ? We love your beer, its the least you can do!
