Sixpoint to release Bourbon Barrel aged 3beans....

I haven't found it yet. But heading out the door to check a couple places. If I spot it I will let you know.

 

Picked up 3 Bean yesterday in Central California. I'm excited to have my first Sixpoint.

This hit bottleBOX in Norfolk VA today... picked up a 4 pack.

 

Was able to grab a 3 Beans in Orlando while visiting but can't get any when I'm back home in Pittsburgh. Looking forward to trying it!

@Sixpoint I just got the preorder sheet for Alpenflo! I searched through BA and can't find anything about it. I ordered 5 cases anyways bc I love a good helles lager, but could you shed some more light on that beer?

Also I love the nod to Outkast from your latest can release! Keep up the great work.

 

Just cracked into one. Delicious. Honestly, if you did not tell me and my eyes were close I would think this is KBS (overhyped of course but still a great beer). Eyes open, the head gives it away. Great job!

 

Had one last night, this is a fantastic beer all around. Been consuming a lot of this style and this was one of better ones hands down, cheers.

 

@Sixpoint do you know if AZ will ever get distribution?

 

I should add, I wish there was more bourbon/barrel in it. But again, great job!

 

We will have a variety of dynamic barrel-aged beers for you to taste over the next 12 months, including one particular brew that will have a very intense bourbon character to it. As far as the immediate horizon goes, look for a first-of-its kind strong rye ale aged that was aged in rye whiskey barrels and bourbon barrels, and of course, packaged in our indelible 12oz sleek cans. We'll also have a couple of derivatives of this beer (just as we did on Bean Day with the porters) that we will be selling through the app. This RIGHTEOUS release will be in early 2018....can't wait to share more details.

Nothing is planned for that way as of right now, but one look at your photo makes me think we should plan our launch party in your backyard.

Had it over the weekend. Thought it was good, not great, but very drinkable. I'd buy it again and recommend it to others.
