Yeah, a lot of brewers who bottled beer in 7 oz. (or 8 oz) throw-away nips/ponies/split bottles or cans sold the beer in 8 packs (a few also offered 8 packs of deposit bottles, too). Besides Bud and Miller, I remember in particular Genesee Cream Ale, Piels Real Draft "Quickies" and Schoenling Little Kings but there were probably many others. Likely, Rolling Rock? Rheingold?.

I always figured it was, in part, to make the math harder:
"Lessee, 8 bottles of 7 ounces each for $1.79 versus 6 bottles of 12 oz. each for $1.89...Uhhhh.... @#$! When are they gonna invent the cheap pocket calculator, anyway!"

But some brewers were offering 8 packs of 12 oz-ers, too, starting back in the '60s.

    Even better - 10 packs.

I like the "family" 10 pack. Save some for the kiddos!

I wonder if the German Mandarina hops in Lo-Res are a product of @Sixpoint's recent direct contracting with German hop producers. Either way it sounds and looks good. The 8-pack is welcome too. Their slim cans probably lend themselves well to the 8-pack format.

Well, look what fell out. Lo-Res now at TW Tampa and Brandon. $12.99/8. That would be $9.75 if in a sixer. Not bad. Will pick up a pack today.

We're all tapped out. What you see on the shelves is what's left but none left at wholesalers or at the brewery.

That blows because the only place I saw it wouldn't sell it to me because it wasnt in their system.that was a 45 minutes drive away Last week. Haven't seen it around me. I need to download the Sixpoint app and use that finder.
