Hell yes it is. Its going out to our entire distribution network next week. And a small batch derivative is being released at the brewery on 3/24. Come down, let's do a hang.

Had this one tonight from the can....it is definitely not hop forward, although there is enough hops in there to balance out the beer, which is necessary for any strong ale that is over 10% ABV.

Because its not a stout and the dark/roasted flavors do not dominate, you really get the essence of the rye and bourbon barrels. You can definitely taste that full-bodied honey, almond, and spice character you get from the spirits/barrel.

Sorry for the bad lighting in the pics, but I had this one around 9pm....its a deep amber color and has considerable clarity....almost brown but still red dominant....a really nice hue.

Cracked open my first can of V Righteous last night...loving it. It kinda reminds me of a BA scotch ale with a drier finish. The vanilla doesn’t come across as artificial in any way and it’s not overly sweet. You guys are really killing it with the BA stuff lately

Had V Rightheous the other night, special beer, loved it. Regular version excellent too. In a beer culture swimming in NEIPAs and Stouts loaded with adjuncts, these beers are a nice contrast and shows the excellence of the brewers.

I'll second what @EnthusedAboutBeer and @jrnyc have said. Both Righteous and its Vanilla cousin are delicious. The barrel flavors are prominent, but not excessively so, and the base beer and the rye in it shine and are readily enjoyed. Both are insanely smooth, very easy to drink (perhaps a little too easy...:sunglasses:), and the color/clarity on both of them is fantastic. Like John alluded to, in a world where it's either yellow/orange and hazy or dark and opaque, being able to see straight through the beautiful red-amber hue of these beers is awesome.

Righteous is the best new beer I've had recently. Most rye ales I've tried fall short on the rye. This one has all the flavor one could want from a rye ale(the barrel makes it that much better) It's so good,I'm going by the store(about twenty five miles out of the way) tomorrow before work in hope of scoring more!

I came across it (regular BA Righteous) at one of my locals a few days ago having almost forgot that I should be keeping my eyes out and quickly grabbed a 4-pack. I've had two so far and wow, an unbelievably delicious beer. Well done @Sixpoint! Really deep nose of barrel, rye, and vanilla and a taste that follows and if anything, expands on the smell profile with the rye at center stage. Super tasty and really well put together with all of the flavors and aromas complimenting each other in the best ways - I already plan to swipe up more, nuf said. Cheers!

This a definite winner! Coming on the heel of 3 Beans BA, Sixpoint is nailing it. Kudos to the crew, I enjoy all your high ABV offerings.

Sure thing - it was LifeSource Natural Foods here in Salem. They've been my go-to recently for most of my Sixpoint needs as I scored the Lo-Res, BA 3-Beans, Hi-Res, and now this there along with countless others of your year-rounders & seasonals that they carry. Cheers!

I'm beginning to sound like a fanboy, but this was a great surprise. My first BA rye. Just enough spice and barrel. I wonder how the last can will age in the back of the fridge.
