Sixpoint to release Righteous Barrel Aged Rye

I'll also chime in that I quite enjoy this one and am likely to pick up another 4-pack. Really nice after-dinner sipper that isn't too high-ABV for a weeknight, and also not too sweet to be exclusively dessert territory. Really nicely balanced, and a range of flavors that come and go as it warms over time.

 

I have a pilot from this brew that I aged over a year in my cellar. This is a beer that most definitely will get better over time as well.

We contemplated dialing up the sweetness, but we ended up reducing it for that very reason. The spice/barrel/dryness at the end allows it to be way more drinkable, and thus much more than a sipping dessert beer.
