I would be insanely happy if this was true. I could drink The Crisp and Sweet Action all day

I have only had the crisp, an awful rendition of a pale lager, I think WI is getting sixpoint too soon.

It hit Northwest Indiana. They are all delish. My personal favorites are Righteous and Resin.

Looking forward to Diesel next year

It's true. Beer should hit shelves April 13th. Starting off with Resin, Bengali Tiger, Crisp, Sweet Action, and Righteous, with Apollo following close behind. Expect a bunch of people from the brewery in town doing events too.

I'm working my way through samples...Resin was amazingly drinkable for what it is.

    Resin was absolutely delicious, imo

I didn't know this until last night. Coincedently, I just met one of their reps at Fountainhead and he had samples of Righteous Ale. Very tasty rye beer. Since he had just started he hadn't received his other samples yet. Anyway, as Vav mentioned he said to keep your eyes peeled for events all over Chicago in the next few weeks.

Out of curiosity, Vav, you were able to get cans to sample?

There will be a Wisconsin Intro Day at different Wisconsin Pubs around April 10th. Quality craft beer in cans, the possibilites are endless. Many of the Core beers are dry hopped to perfection, and the enjoyment starts upon opening the can

Overall very underwhelmed by Sixpoint compared to the hype it had in Ohio. However, Righteous Ale is fantastic.

I've tried several of Sixpoint's offerings (via trade extras) and haven't really enjoyed any of them. They've all ranged from blah to bad for me.... that being said - who knows how old the cans were that I got so I'll probably give them a shot once they hit town and I can be reasonably assured that I'll at least be trying fresh-ish samples....

Hey we got some samples in Arlington Heights. And I didn't even have to hound my rep, but I was planning to anyway

Overall, I was underwhelmed too. I was excited when I heard they were coming to Ohio, but I haven't had one of their beers that I'd buy again. They're ok-good, but not great, IMHO. Righteous was my favorite, but nothing special, IMHO.

All of their beer is mediocre at best. I was excited at first but I probably won't be buying anymore of their beer.

Van, in thenChicagoist article about Sixpoint it mentions Deschutes and Surly coming to Chicago possibly. Have you heard anything about this?

As stated in the article, these are just the hopes of the author. So far as i know, there is no plan by either to move in to Illinois.

I thought Righteous was very sessionable, which is what I liked about it. I could see myself drinking it in the summer on a camping trip or while playing corn hole and grilling out. But other than that, underwhelmed. Ballast Point on the other hand lived right up to its expectation.
