Sixpoint has been in Indiana for a couple months, I'd say they are a solid, but nothing spectacular brewery. A great thing is that their beers are very reasonably priced. $10/4-pack for Sweet Action is a good deal.

I rank their beers I've had:
    -Sweet Action
    -Resin
    -Righteous
    -Bengali Tiger

The 4 year run in Chicago is over? Rumor is that Sixpoint is leaving the Chicago market. Posted to the Sixpoint BA account in the Puff thread but no denial/confirmation from them. The silence may be an answer in itself. Might have to get your 5Beans elsewhere folks.

Wow. If true, what brewery was the last to actually leave the Chicago market?

So to clarify what I just wasted my time reading in the link: Some guy can't find a new SixPoint beer in Illinois so he proclaims the sky is falling and Sixpoint is pulling out of IL? And then it spirals out because SixPoint chooses not to acknowledge a rumor like that?

Just a hiccup with distro. Doesn't look like the sky is actually falling... phew!

That is a good question actually. Bell's hiatus was the first one that truly saddened me, but can't think of one that has left since the boom.

    It's true, they're pulling.

And there have a been a couple breweries that have pulled here and there. Last major one was Bear Republic. Last one to break my heart was De Koninck.
