Didn't see anything mentioned on the forums about this yet. Any other BAs planning on attending? The announcement says: September 12, 2015 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm "We're having a party!! 35 breweries. Special collaboration beers. Food. Commemorative merchandise. Photo booth. And more! Celebrate our 20th with Denver Vintage Reggae Society (DVRS), Mad Caddies and Reel Big Fish! Tickets go on sale at 9am Thursday, June 11th. $40 gets you a commemorative pint glass, samples of beer from all the breweries and live music. Purchase in the Tasting Room, Brown Paper Tickets (online) and locally in Durango at Southwest Sound." Looking forward to this but haven't heard much about it yet. Any ideas of what breweries will be represented and potential collaboration beers? Also, has anyone been there for past events and know of a good place to camp close to the brewery? Thanks! http://www.beeradvocate.com/events/info/75577/
I'll be there, but if you don't have tickets, you'll have to get them from craigslist or elsewhere as the event has sold out already. I have been the last several years and the party continues to get more popular and it keeps selling out earlier each year. In years past, there haven't been any major collabs or crazy special beers, but Ska usually has a couple of one-offs on tap for the evening. The brewery list should be out in the next few weeks according to Ska's FB page.
This sold out super fast otherwise I would be there. I'll check Craigslist but no way am I paying above face.
I can tell you from previous years that the asking price is typically around the face value, but the previous years have also not sold out months in advance.
Thanks dude, I'll keep an eye out for the list on their FB page. Where have you stayed in previous years, are you local?
Yeah, i'm local...there is a Homewood Suites on the same street as Ska that I looked into staying at last year but not shockingly, the rates were crazy high for that night...looks about the same this year ($250ish).
