I doubt it will last, either because it sells out, or because they decide to pull the remaining bottles from the shop to add to the reserve cellar. The website tends to be pretty accurate, so keep an eye on it over the coming days. You might be able to get it on tap though.

As to the other question, I can't say for sure, but I would assume there is some draconian liquor law that prevents bars/brewpubs from allowing this. Maybe someone else can chime in with better info. Ontario's liquor laws tend to be limiting...

If you are up for trading to get the Skeleton Keys, or other Bellwoods limited releases, I am sure you will find some takers. If you start a new thread in the Canada forums to that effect, I am sure you will draw some interest. Send me a message, I might be able to help you out with Skeleton Keys if our schedules can match up.

    Cheers and enjoy your visit!

I doubt it....... they can lose their liquor license. Do not try this at any bar/brewery.

Thanks for the heads up! Definitely won’t bring anything into the brewery then!

It is hit or miss down here...some places absolutely won’t allow it, and others turn a blind eye. If I’m going to a brewery out of state I may bring a bottle in and ask politely at the bar if I can share. 50/50 rate of success.

In Atlanta I’ve been to a few bottle shares that a local brewpub allowed us to host in their space. We’ve had upwards of 30 people cracking 75+ beers that we bring ourselves and it’s a great time. They stick us in a back room and we encourage people to order food, and to tip the staff extremely well for food and bringing us water refills...it somehow works out and everyone wins
