    Cans of Surf Wax would set my heart on fire! One of my favorite Asheville IPAs along with Freak, East Side or Die, Destroyer, Rainmaker, Perfect Day, Draft Punk...holy shit, Asheville has more dank-ass IPAs than I initially realized!

    Diggin the label art. For as much hate there seems to be on this thread about this beer, I really thought it was decent, and the doughnut hole on a stick was the perfect compliment!

    $18 for 64oz isn't bad at all. Much better than the 22oz bottle price!

    Can you confirm how it tastes out of a can? In particular, when I visited recently I was perturbed to find that the donut flavor had been really strongly pulled back. And that, to me, had been what separated it from other similar stouts - that incredible donut mouthfeel. I know the recipe is bound to change from what they were doing on a small scale, but I guess I was hopeful it was just the batch I was drinking...

    It didn't have a huge doughnut taste on draft, not in comparison to something like Imperial Doughnut break. It was a soft subtle sweetness that increased as the beer warmed.
