I have family going to Skokie, Ill this weekend and they are able to stop and pick me up some beer on Sunday before they head home. I'm assuming there are no restrictions on beer purchases on Sundays in Ill. They are staying on Touhy Ave. right off of 94 in Skokie. I'm looking for a decent store that would be easy for them to find (address would be helpful or I can look it up). It does not have to be right by where they are staying but something convenient off of 94/90 South on their way back to Ohio. I'm looking for Half Acre Daisy Cutter and any other suggestions for new releases that are out. Thanks for any help you can provide. Cheers!!!

There is a Binny's in Skokie, 1 exit north of Touhy. It is smaller though, but will still have a good selection.
    5100 W. Dempster
    Skokie, IL 60077
Going south, there are 2 Binny's close to the highway that will have the best selection of local beers that you can find:
    1720 N. Marcey St.
    Chicago, IL 60614
    1132 S. Jefferson St.
    Chicago, IL 60607
Also, no alcohol before 11am on Sunday.

This varies from town to town. I know some that won't sell before noon, other as early as 9am.

There is a Whole Foods (Peterson / Cicero intersection - NW corner) located at the Peterson exit off of 94, which carries Half Acre and Revolution. It may be easier for them to take Cicero south from Touhy, because the Peterson / Cicero intersection can be tricky coming from the highway.

It has a nice, but limited selection.

Lincolnwood Wine & Spirits has a great selection. About a mile east on touhy, hang a right on lincoln and its 2 blocks up on the left. They have Half Acre and Revolution consistantly.

This is the correct answer. When you go to Skokie ask for Ben, he's a good cat.

Half Acre should be open on Sunday (11am-5pm I believe) so they could even go right to the source. Theres a bottle shop just a couple blocks south of the brewery called Bottles and Cans also

It is about 2 miles off the I-94 path but Schaefer's off Gross Point Road in Skokie, is a place I like as well. Eli is the man there.
